Yesterday I upgraded to Opera 9, both at work and at home. At work I access a Java based website that has an intergrated messenger service. The website has always worked fine, but whenever I try opening the messenger program, no window appears at all. It works fine in IE and Firefox, but has never worked in Opera. I upgraded to version 9 in the hope that this would fix it, which it didn't, but now certain other sites down't work.

This website doesn't work at all. So at home I tried manually installing the latest version of Java (Which Opera claims is not needed at all for versions abouve 4) Once I had done that, the site worked, but was very very slow. I tried turing off 'Enable java script' and this made the site work fine, except now http://www.ogame.org/ doesn't work until I enable java script. So is anyone else having major java problems with Opera, specifically version 9? If I can't sort it out, im tempted to go back to Firefox.
