Opera on Mac - not by choice

How is it that Opera is an option when opening certain files even though I haven't installed it?

Does it come as part of OSX?

How do I remove it?

Do you CS3 installed by chance? And were you trying to open a torrent file?

Yes, I have CS3 installed. No, not a torrent (don't use it) - it was just a png. I right clicked and in the 'Open With' menu it showed Opera as an option. It does open with it but Opera isn't in my applications! Where's it hiding?! I want to get rid.

Opera is something to do with the CS3 package, used in Bridge iirc. I don't think you can get rid of it though.

You learn something new every single day. Like the OP I was wondering how Opera had gotten installed on my Mac. Pesky Adobe
