Using Windows 10 and trying to copy a file off my network to my PC.

Every time I try and copy the file I get the following message.

"Operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software"

I know 100% that the file is ok, I've tried disabling windows defender and still no luck.
Only just started having this problem recently as in the past the file has copied fine.

Done a search and most of the solutions suggest disabling windows defender either via settings or a reg key. Tried both and still having the issue.

Does anyone know a solution?

Sorted, seems to be a common thing, i#ll trying everything under the sun then post in here, then within a few mins I managed to sort it.

If anyone's interest, the issue was down to the server I was copying the files off. I had to also disable windows defender on the server machine as well as that was generating the same error.
