I'm in the process of finishing a water cooled SG05B.

Build list includes Zotac 9300, E8400, 2 x 160GB Scorpio Blacks in Raid, Slot DVDRW, Ati 5770, modded H50 with swiftech micro res and MCP block.

Its been a pain in the ass getting the res into the case but it's just about done - just waiting for a few more parts to finish the loop and leak test. Will post pics when completed.

Just waiting for one last waterblock to turn up - hopefully tomorrow and my loop will be finished.

Just put the loop in with the MCP block and res added to the H50 loop - temps are - CPU 37 idle and MCP 33 - have yet to stress properly. Also I've noticed that no matter what, the lowest my CPU reports is 37/36 across the dual cores - I don't believe it would report lower regardless of cooling performance.

Still waiting for my GPU block but in the meantime some temps and a photo.

Core 1 - idle 37 - load 41
Core 2 - idle 36 - load 39
MCP - idle 31 - load 39

Load temps are after over an hour of OCCT large data set + Prime 95 - 2 threads. Ambient temp is about 20 degrees.

Need to change the tube layout a little when I redo the loop with the graphics card block and need to find a good place to hide the LEDs. I guess I must be almost done with this rig...

hmm, looks interesting, can I ask how the H50 was modded? assuming you are using the H50 pump to keep the water moving, rather than having the pump in the reservoir?
is it going to be enough to pump through the gpu as well?

i doubt you could get a pump in the res, you seen the size of it? :P

be interesting to see it cope with a gfx card aswell. Also, reason for a res?

The H50 has had the stock tube cut off and 6mm ID 6mm OD PVC tube put in place. Not sure if the pump will cope with the GPU as well or not... only one way to find out.

Reason for the res is to make bleeding the loop easier - could have been done with a T-fitting but I like the look of the res.

I used a swiftech mcw30 for the MCP but had to mod it very slightly to fit the zotac board.

I should be gettting a XSPC X20 vga block any day and some ram/mosfet sinks to mod the 5770.

Fingers crossed this will give me a near silent rig that doesn't go much over 40 degress under load.

Much healthier 9300 MCP temps than stock, before I modded my board I was looking at 75 sitting it idle in Windows. I ended up using small nuts/bolts and some decent thermal paste to get a good clamp down, ditching those stupid pins/springs.

Got any pics of the MCP block?

I'll put up lots of pics when I rebuild the loop next weekend. I'm really amazed at the temps on the MCP now - I was getting ridiculous temps that would cause thermal shutdowns before. Even lapping the heatsink and bolting it down didn't help much.

Some more pic of the rebuilt loop;

Slight bend of the graphics card required here but it seems to be ok

MCP temps have gone up a little but this might just mean I haven't got as good a seating on the waterblock this time round...

CPU idles the same, MCP at 35 and the GFX card sits idle at 31.

I'll let you know about load temps in a day or 2 once the AS5 has cured but so far it looks sub 50

Ok temps;

CPU @ 3.4GHz - GFX 5770 @ 960MHz / 1445MHz

Core 1 - 37 / 44
Core 2 - 36 / 39
MCP - 33 / 41
GFX - 28 / 48

I'm impressed.

With that cooling, what are the noise levels like?
1 pump and 1 fan system?

It's pretty quiet. I have two 120mm fans on the rad; you can't really hear them but you can hear the air movement if that makes sense.

The fan in the PSU is silent most of the time except after a while at full load it kicks up to a higher RPM.

The pump is definitely the loudest thing in the system. Its not as quiet as I'd like it to be but I'm pretty sensitive to noise. I've got a Laing DDC and D5 turning up to play with, see if they're any quieter; not sure I could fit them in the case though...

I can sleep with it on in my room without it bothering me.
