Operation Sort Out Living Room, Stage 1 Complete!

Hello fellow DIY minded people.

We're re-doing our living room & stage 1 (get new fireplace) is complete!

Well happy with it, it looks ace

Just stage 2 (finish stripping paper off walls & ceiling ( ), stage 3 (get walls & ceiling skimmed), stage 4 (paint said walls & ceilings) and finally stage 5 (get new sofa delivered & in place) to go!

I've got some more laminate to sort the gap out. We were thinking of a quite bold red on the chimney breast with a lighter colour on the rest.
