well i hope no one thinks its too shiney, could buff it up but it almost looks artificial!

need to clean up the back a bit and sort out the fan options.

that's immense....god i'm tempted to try modding something like that, you got to love how simple it looks.

I was going to get that button for my case until I decided £12 was a bit much for a button :P

It looks cool - is the top corner fully rounded because in photos it appears to go 45 degrees - straight 45 degress if you know what i mean.

£12 is cheap! but i paid even less so yippee!!
its curved but its a nightmare to photograph so thats why it looks odd. in 3d its so much better to look at.

so i chucked some kit in adn i mean chucked!
needs some tidying up and some fans, although from testing, exhaust fans are plenty enough to keep temps down. must be all that space up front!

be gentle about the temporary drive mount, i need to make a better/neater one!
and some way/where to put the hdd.

Wow, looking very good! I go away for a while and it all happens! :p

I prefer the green and black combo to blue to be honest, I think blue goes better in silver cases.

As for the mounting issue, is there a way to move the drive cage through 90 degrees so its coming out of the front instead of down from the top? You could then mount the hard drive vertically too between the optical and the front of the case. That would leave you with a big empty space at the bottom though, maybe put an intake fan in there?

Also, did you have the side on when testing the temps? Probably a stupid question but I do so enjoy asking them! :D

PK!

Looks great, the HD bay from a PC7 or G50 would be perfect for mounting HDs in it. It's quite low and would fit under the DVD drive.

yeah im with you on the green/black thing. hmmm, i might be able to rotate a cage, not sure whats going in the front yet though, would be nice to get the hdd up there too. i had managed to mount the drive above the psu, using the vent holes for the screws. i reckon it would have been nice with a window and the drive polished.
the side was on, well not fully, it was leaning against the case so there was a little gap! :D

looks great, was it easy to add that switch?

any soldering needed to assemble it at all?

switch was probably the most satisfying bit of this case so far! just drill a 19mm hole and screw it in. these bulgin switches seem to come with the right connectors for motherboards, you just need to get some black plastic sleeves for them. i used an old case so had the led and power switches going spare for this. red and black goes to the original power switch pins and the led goes to the power light pins. not sure if i could have used the hdd activity, that could have been funky!
