As per my update thread, I've got one exam left. One exam in which to get a high enough grade to warrant my admittance back into university.

So I'm going to be cheeky and post a few mock questions in the hope that people can help give some tips if they can or merely point me to articles etc to read.

Thanks, really appreciate it. I'll post my results up in a week or so's time so you can see how good/bad I've done. :)

If anyone could answer 3 of the questions fully and email it to my trust by 7am I'll paypal you £10. :)

Bed now for moi.

None of them are particularly challenging ops management questions - if you need help to have any idea how to answer them I think its probably a waste of time going to the exam.

I mean look at question 22. You'll know what Slack's 5 performance objectives are, hopefully?

Speed, Quality, Flexibility, Dependability and Cost.

Now think about how these will differ between the examples. What sort of difference in speed, quality and cost would you expect between a burger bar and a high class restauarant?

This is all basic stuff, I don't mean to doom-monger but if you are really this stuck then you picked the wrong degree :p

Haha, this is a culmination of a lot of factors. Normally I find stuff a walk in the park.

I've got slacks book in front of me, so reading some odds and sods. I just need some good salient theories/models/words/phrases to be able to drop down. ^^

Yipee, I finished uni too!!!

Thank God it was a part-time course, I could barely stick it on the days I did do.

Nice. :p

What course are you doing mate?

What is slacks?

I'm actually the head of operations for a restaurant chain but would love to do a course/read some useful books on the theory behind what I'm actually doing In real life as I only have a law background.

It would certainly be beneficial. I'll link you up later once I've finished my exam. Main chap is Nigel Slack iirc.
