Hi,
i have been offered a Operton 165 with the stepping
CCB1E 0609FPBW
for £150, my current processor (also a 165) topped off at 2.6Ghz

Is it worth buying it in your opinion? :)

Thanks in advance

The CCB1E 0609FPBW is the highest i've seen at over 3.1Ghzs prime stable with air cooling. I only saw 2 of these and both were retails and both clocked the same. Dont get confused with the CCB1E 0609FPAW which usually max out around 2.8/9.

Whether its worth £150, i doubt it as people have been struggling to sell them on MM for less than that and new ones are £160.
thanks :d
very glad you posted this :)
the stepping being sold is OSA165DAA6CD CCB1E 0609FPBW,
i asked if he is willing to sell for £100 (since you can get a higher speed AM2 for near that) but i doubt he will seeing as this is one of the best steppings

Also what is MM? if its against the rules to say mail me at
[email protected]
thanks in advance :)
