Ok so i have trawled through the archives and it seems everyone is raving about the Samsung SM913n and to a certain extent the neovo. Just can't seem to make up my mind though.
Firstly at the minute my computer is used primarily for internet and divx viewing. I do play games from time to time examples being HL2, links, Tony Hawks, Pro Evo, Sims, FM2005 but like i said i seem to spend less and less time gaming.
I currently have a 15" flat screen CRT monitor but i have some money burning a hole in my pocket so i figured i might splash out on an LCD.
8ms or 12ms is there really that much of a difference and given my user profile am i likely to notice it? Also the contrast ratio, the neovo is 500:1 samsung 700:1 again is there much of a difference here. 17" or 19" on the neovo range there is about £40 of difference and whilst it might not be much i can't help thinking £40. My computer is in a box room and even watching divx i'm at most 5ft away from the screen can i really justify 19". Finally the Acer widescreen that a lot of people have been mentioning, does it automatically run everything in widescreen mode or do i run desktop and games etc in normal 4:3 mode and dvds in widescreen. I don't really watch dvd's on my pc but perhaps it wouldn't be a bad thing to have?
I'm leaning towards the neovo f417 atm simply because the shop down the street is selling at £160, and given that i live in N.Ireland i would prefer to get locally as i don't have to shell out a fortune for carriage.
Opinions Please.
