opinions on 2 makes??

im looking at upgrading my pc in the next week or so been through routes with my CPU etc just got the ram to sort out now i have decided to go with 8 gig ram and running XP64 now i just cant decide on which make for the price??

the choices are:

Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC2-8500C5 TwinX (2x2GB) Supplied with Airflow Fan (TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF)

and

OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-8500C5 1066MHz Dual Channel Platinum Series DDR2 (OCZ2P10664GK)

Now the crosair comes with airflow fan but it's cheaper to buy the OCZ and buy two crossair memory coolers seperatly

there are a few others combinations i can get 8 gig from but seen these
any thoughts and coments on speeds etc as i dont wanna clock them at all and just want the fastest/best i can buy only capable of ddr2 as well

Corsair is a better brand and have less issues with Mobo's.

If your using an Asus Mobo even more reason to buy Corsair.

Some here will come in and say they run Asus fine with OCZ and they probably are, but its all over the OCZ forums and web that they cannot run in all Asus Mobo properly.

I cannot be bothered to type it all out why but use SEARCH and my NICK and you will see.

+1 I've had many stick of both makes over the years and always end up with corsair in the end

Another vote for Corsair, although Ive always been happy with the XMS..

cool cool im useing a gigabyte board core 2 duo and will be useing when it arrives a 4870 X2 righ well spend a bit more and get the better brand etc..
