opinions on a laptop please?

Hi all

i've been thinking about getting a laptop to supliment my current rig,

im a big gamer as is my GF but she lives 3 hours away so when i go to visit im obviously asstranged from my pc.

so it came to my mind that if i could get a decent laptop for gaming then i would be able to have my two favorite things in the same place (aww bless lol)

anyway i dont know half about laptops as i do desktop pcs but this one has grabbed my eye.

what do people think? is this a good lappy? any opinions or suggestions would be appreciated.

Would you not get a better spec with the ocuk custom built laptops?

What type of games do you play etc?

well i had a look at the OCUK specs but the prices seemed to be higher from a base tho obviously i could be wrong not knowing much about laptop hardware, also i thought the cases on the ocuk system were a big boring (what can i say im a sucker for shiny and red lol)

the main two games i play are Call of duty 4 and Lord of the rings online.

The only thing I was not sure about that laptop was the graphics card, not sure what a 9700gt comes out capable of. I would look for some reviews and make sure it would be playable with those games.

Otherwise go for it, the 17" ocuk ones have ddr3 and other extras which pushes up the cost.
