Hi all

i currently have a wireless mouse, logitech G7.

im going to a lan soon and im worried about interference and possible theivin of my wireless one, so im considering getting a wired one (i also have friends that swear by wired for gaming)

so what i would like is some opinions on the wired mouse i should go for, hearing good things about the razor mice?

i use an ice mat (glass mouse mat) so it needs to work on that, and preferably i would like to be able to adjust the DPI of the laser, as i find the ultra high dpi a bit too jerky (i have my G7 set lower than the max)

any opinions greatly appreciated

I've always found wireless to be better.

The G5's nice - alternatively i'd give the deathadder a try. Excellent smooth and reliable tracking. By far the best mouse i've ever used. :)

Either the Logitech G5 or the Razer DeathAdder. Both are pretty similar; I prefer the shape of the G5 but the DeathAdder has better thumb buttons.

I can confirm they both work fine on an IceMat as I'm using one right now.

As above the DeathAdder or G5 is the way to go. I've owned both and I'd lean slightly towards the G5 myself, as for me the Razer gets very dirty very quickly, and needs constant cleaning. At least mine did.
