Every so often, I get that "amidoingitrite?" feeling and I know how psychological this lifting game can be.
So, amidoingitrite?
Height = 5' 4" / 163 cm
Weight = 58 kg / 9st 2lb / 128 lb
Age = 32
Training = 3 years of "Starting Strength" based routine (2 x per week, 5-7 reps, emphasis on deadlift, squat, benchpress).
Diet = LeanGains / carb-cycling
Lifting stats:
Squats = 100kg x 5 (1.7 x BW)
Deadlift = 116 kg x 5 (2 x BW)
DB Bench = 38kg x 5 (equivalent to 83 kg barbell? (1.4 x BW)
Workout day (2 x week) = 3100 cals / 120 P / 473 C / 84 F
Rest day (5 x week) = 2050 cals / 203 P / 55 C / 105 F
Average daily calories = 18.2 x BW
Aim = getting stronger, gaining 1 lb per month (I've previously experimented with 1 lb per week and 0.5 lb per week, but I get fat very quickly at that rate of gain, especially being so short and small-framed).
What I hope you're going to say:
"If the weight on the bar and the weight on the scales is going up, you're doing it right. Anything else is just details."
