Just finished a new design for my blog/website but something still doesn't feel right about it.
Any ideas?
it used CSS3 so unfortunately the rounded edges on the content boxes only work in mozilla/webkit based browsers.

i've put the design up on http://londondude.freehostia.com before I start coding ym present site into it.

Opera doesn't show up the rounded corners (yet?) for some reason. Yes it is too grey, get some colours in there. Choose a colour and use it sparingly here and there, maybe just the London Dude text (above the latin) for example. About the design - it looks a bit stretched out at the moment, but that may be accentuated by the lack of content. You may want to specify a total width and keep everything on the left for people with large screens. However, as I say it may look better when it's padded out vertically.

What have you done which is css3 then? Looks like only the mozilla specific borders. I'm not a huge fan of those (just looked in firefox), they look a bit jaggy. This sort of thing may look nicer, and it's not hard.

Good job :)

personally i'd make it slightly lighter, as at the moment al i see is grey.

It's difficult to give an opinion at the mo.

Visually i'm hit with a grey screen, get some content on there.

i agree it looks a bit grey. I've started to integrate it into WordPress on my PC so im hoping the links and content will make it look a bit better.

joeyjojo - had a little trouble with the instructions that site gave for the rounded corners but I am looking at other ways of getting the effect. The css3 ones do look jaggey and for some reason they seem to look stretched horizontally.
