Opinions on potential laptop purchase

Has anyone any experience with the Inferno 11.6" laptop range

I'm looking at replacing my 4 year old Advent 6552 17" which has served me well & still does everything I want it to,
but it's just too large for my everyday needs now as I use my Galaxy Note 2 for browsing, e-mails etc.

I've priced a spec up as follows.

I7 2.7GHZ CPU
8GB memory
750GB 7,200prm hard drive (32mb cache)

All the usual bits & pieces that come with it including windows 8 64bit for £850

Anything better around for the price?

Don't want to go down the Mac route, so Apple is out the window.

What will the laptops main uses be? £850 for something you won't be gaming on is excessive!

I'm looking for something a little more portable than my 17" laptop.
Main stuff it's used for now is streaming to my Xbox, photo work (lightroom etc), & general office work.
That said, once I have it I may find other uses for it.

Like I say, my everyday browsing tends to be on my note 2 now, purely because it's easier than digging out the bulky laptop.

I want to invest in something that will last me a few years, like my old 17" has.
I've just installed Windows 8 & have to say I like it, so I'd like a machine that will make full use of what it has to offer.
