I'm thinking of selling my current rig (sig) as I want to move over to Mini ITX and feel my current system is big, bulky and overpowered for my use. However I don't want to regret it.

I would like to buy the following:-

Silverstone SG05B 450W
ASRock Z68M ITX Motherboard
8GB Memory
i5 2500k CPU
Nvidia 560Ti

Already have Hard Drive and H50-1 cooler sorted.

Selling the parts from my current rig should just about cover the new rig as long as I stick to the above list.

About 75% of the time I'm just surfing the net and the other 25% I'm gaming, but I do like to play demanding games eg. Black Opps, Bad Company 2 and Dirt 3 I also plan on buying MW3 and BF3. I would like to still be able to play these games at 1920 x 1080 with decent quality for the next 2 years.

So with that in mind would this Side/Downgrade be ok or will I notice the drop too much?

Thanks :)

there is absolutely no need to change anything, the difference you will see now and what you want to get is marginal, it would be a waste of money and time, get a smaller case.

It wouldn't cost any more as the sale of my current hardware would cover it, time is not an issue as I enjoy building rigs! Like I say I want to go mini-itx and use the SG05B case, problem is current motherboard and GTX 580 won't fit. My biggest concern would be if the difference between the 580 and 560ti is too big and struggled to run the games I play at decent levels.

The problem you may find is that the 560 ti uses about 300w at full load (from what I've read in reviews) and the 2500k uses 95w. The case you chose only has a built in 300w PSU, might be a bit hard getting a larger SFX PSU to swap it with. Have you looked at the Lian Li PC-Q08R it not as good looking as the one you chose but it uses a standard ATX PSU.

Ignore me just noticed you've already sourced one
