A friend of mine is raving about this and keeps suggesting I get it. I've taken a look at the Wordpress site and it all seems good...as do most of the comments on here after a quick search.

I'm really just after any current opinions about using Wordpress, I know it is primarily a blogging tool but is it best to only use it for a blog? Also, if I install Wordpress on my site how will it interface with Dreamweaver or will Wordpress be the only program I use?

Thanks for any opinions/help

Wordpress has matured a lot over the last year or two. It's now a very nice bit of software.

You would still design your templates in whatever way suited you best, but once the templates are done (or you've downloaded one or whatever) you would only use wordpress to write the blog itself. It also supports static non blog pages now too.

Missed this thread.
I use this for my Blog - I've been using it for a while now, Wordpress since Version 1 and before that when it was called something else.
Great piece of software, loads of plug-in's, nice community etc.
Can't go wrong with it.

I use it for my blog/site. Definately got bigger and better over the years, customisation is a dream to use. Don't really want to try any others as Wordpress does exactly what I want.
