Back with a Vengeance.
i'm upgrading and am going to need a new case.
i want something that's well built, looks tasteful, has been designed to help with noise reduction and that has lots of room inside should i need to work on the thing once it's assembled.at the mo i have a Sonata which, although i like it a lot, it can he awkward to get your hands inside the thing.
i like the look of the Antec P180 but if you lot know of a better option then i'm all ears.

any suggestions?

PC7+ with some decent fans. Low noise cases are very gimicky, its what you put in them that makes the noise.

I would got for a PC7+ or a Akasa Eclipse 62 and spend a lot on some high quality fans, and a good GFX cooler.

Both then would be much much quieter than a stock P180, of course you could do the same to the P180 and get the same noise level, exactly.

The P180 is not built to well at all, door warping and general low quality from every forum bar silent pc review, who helped design it so are highly, highly biased.

Plenty of options, but your post was missing the most important part, budget!

how abouth the P150 then?
as for budget....i'd go upto around £150 for case+PSU.
interior room is an important factor plus aesthetically i'm less than impressed with Lian Li's efforts

P150 is only a good case if you need a case and a PSU together for exactly that price, as a case on its own it feels very cheap for the money you have spent.

If you do not like Lian Li's offerings (after seeing them in person as pictures do not do them justice) then how about a Akasa Eclipse?

The CM Mystique is a nice case, have not seen enough of them (only 1) so can not really comment on and build quality issues but seems quite a nice case. :)

You mean the CM Mystique or the Akasa mirage?

Looking the the CM it does look alright when the door is lined up with the rest of the front, looks strange the wrong way around. 2x120mm fan, looks ok inside and decent build quality although the front seems to be Alluminium on top of plastic. Fairly good price though if like me you cant stand the way the Akasa looks :p

I would be tempted by the old wavemaster though and buy some quiet 80mm fans, they are very well built and look very nice in person. That is if you dont like the Lian Li.

Its a little dated now, good combo if you have that much money exactly to spend on both.

The Antec 1650 is a very nice combo. :)

the styling of the 1088 i can live with to be honest.
am i right in assuming its a full tower? as interior working space is important to me.
if its a full tower and the PSU is a good 'un i'll probably go for it, unless you're aware of any build quality/other horror stories.
