Hi Guys,

I have been asked to build a PC for a work m8 as a present for xmas, budget is
£350 and it will be used for normal stuff such as internet, word processing, all
that kind of stuff.

Would you have a look and see what you think of this spec or if you would
change anything.

thanks

An Athlon II X4 for "normal stuff such as internet, word processing, all that kind of stuff."?

Go for an i3 2120 or an Phenom II X3.

will the computer be used for gaming atall?
either way this build will be better than whay you have suggested, but if it will be used for gaming then i'll need a massive rethink

if you were to spend more money on it i would recommend putting it into the motherboard and getting the cheapest H67 motherboard so that it had USB3 and sata 6GB/s or getting the 1TB hard drive in that bundle i chose
