i currently have a amd a8 5600k and i watch a lot of movies i have a blu ray reader and power dvd and i watch them in 3d if i buy an nvidia graphics card will i still be able to do this or will i have to purchase there nvidia 3d vision software ?

You will need to purchase the nVidia 3D vision kit to watch movies/play games.

Not with Power Dvd.

Power Dvd is all you need for 3D movie playback, you don't need 3D vision/3D play(if that's what it's called) unless gaming.
