Oppo Find 7 Thread

Are you sure about that? Surely they'd try and go for a worldwide release if possible. If not then that's very poor.

they will go for EU/China etc release but networks won't buy stock from someone like oppo :) It's not so much oppo it's more to do with networks not wanting to pay for the stock etc.. but IMO it's good simfree.. I had mine delivered in less than 24hrs after dispatch

this was/is the case with find5/n1/r819..

If Oppo make an effort with marketing and it gets rave reviews, there could be enough demand for at least some networks to stock it though, surely? I know this has been the case in the past but they could change their approach.

At the very least it needs to be available at companies like Clove, etc.

is this it?

Looks boring!

rubbish pics but it looks exactly the same as the above pic just with white back? what's the surprise lol

it's a nice and clean design and I'm sure build like a brick, ready to kill.

I wouldn't be surprised if that is the F7. Nothing wrong with the existing design tbh and it makes a good weapon as already mentioned :) As for the ROM...

Looks good enough (though understandably not nearly as pretty as Oppo made it look), but no front speakers means it's unlikely to offer me anything over a Nexus 5, and if a Nexus 5 comes with stock Android and presumably similar specs at a fraction of the price, it's going to be a tough sell (I've decided 32GB is enough for me, so while the microSD card slot would be nice, it's not £100+ nice).

While I feel LG were nuts putting the Nexus 5 speaker in the bottom-right (in landscape orientation) rather than the top-right, side speakers were always going to be easier to direct the sound with cupped hands than a rear-speaker. Same with the N1 - it had a Snapdragon 600 while it's rivals were a coming out with the far superior 800 just a couple of weeks later (that and it had an enormous chin, and the Find 7's chin doesn't look small either).

Sorry Oppo - looks solid, but you need to be ahead of the game to crack this market properly, not be a step behind. I like where they're heading though - the subtle, classy, very European approach to the Eastern market.

Looks quite nice overall, though the screen looks washed out unless it's just the pictures.

Worth jumping through proverbial hoops to get one over a Z2 for example? Probably not.

0 to 75% charge in half an hour... Awesome!

The higher specced model sounds cool.
