Apparently due to patent disputes with Nokia OPPO/OnePlus may be planning to leave the EU market, with the UK, Germany, France and the Netherlands first.

For context: https://www.theverge.com/2022/8/9/23297947/oppo-oneplus-halt-sales-germany-nokia-patent-lawsui

Bit of a shame, while I don't like ColorOS, hardware wise they've been pretty great... Although OP has been trailing downwards recently.

Edit: Responded to Android Authority: https://www.androidauthority.com/oppo-oneplus-europe-uk-exit-3302326/

OnePlus will not exit from Europe and the UK and maintains stable operations in local markets. OnePlus will continue to invest in Europe and provide more innovative product and solutions for its users.

Shame, but OnePlus haven't been OnePlus for years now, last phone of interest they made was the OnePlus 7 Pro.

I've got a 7T Pro and was very keen on getting another OnePlus until the Android 12 update which removed features and broke functionality of others, right before the phone was EOL'd and won't get any more updates. Charming.

I moved from a Xiaomi 11pro 5g to a OnePlus 11. got £170 trade in with it and free ear buds. Really happy with it so far. Charges to full in less than 30mins. Only downside is there no FM in the OnePlus.

I love my 8t and my daughter loves her 10t, I gave my 6t to the wife which she seems comfortable with. The 10t is a bargain at the moment, I'm not sure what the problems are supposed to be.

Features and price haven't been great in recent years, not a fan of the punch hole either so that's also a turn off. They were pushing premium prices without premium features.

Current flash sale obviously helps (there's probably a reason for that), too little, too late for me. Didn't they also fail bend tests? So not great build quality either.

I bet you love the 14 pro pill cutout...

Had to Google it as I have zero interest in iPhones... Yikes.. :(

I'd happily sacrifice good quality selfies for a full screen experience, I just don't get it... I think we're at the point where people will just buy anything if it's got the right brand logo on there... .
