Which is better?

Mainly for gaming, I could overclock but I only have GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC3200 Value & i'm not sure how much I can push it (current setup has no PCI lock).

So, thats my budget, which would you go for? Also benchmarks could be handy :)

I plan to upgrade to a nice top of the line GTX/X1900 so yea... :)

Personally, I'd go for the Opty 165 as it's the Toledo core (2 x 1MB cache).

However, since it only has the 9x multiplier your board will have to be good for ~290MHz+ HTT to reach the chip's potential.

Don't worry about your RAM, just keep it on a divider to keep it close to 200MHz. FYI, in my 2nd rig I use the Geil value 2GB kit, and I run it at 210MHz @ 2.5-3-3-7 1T on an MSI board without any issues, which is faster than spec'd timings and speed, so pretty impressive considering it's a value kit.

I was thinking of the same board you have in your sig! Would that do it?
