First of my rig:

AMD Opteron UP 144 San Diego 1.8GHz (CAB2E0546FPDW)
OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC3200 Dual Channel Platinum Series EL-DDR CAS2
Arctic Cooling Freezer 64
DFI LanParty NF4 SLI-DR
Seasonic S12 430W Silent ATX2.0
Sapphire ATI Radeon X800 GTO²

I am hitting a brick wall.

With a FSB of 300, HTT bus at *3, 1.5volts, mem set at 2/3 with a load temp of 42 degrees.

The system is Prime 95 stable however when trying to play CS:S the system starts to crash. How can i rectify this? Should i run more volts through the chip?

Have you been stress testing properly as you go along - using lots of different programs for a blend? Some OCs may pass one but fail very quickly on other tests. I would imagine that 1.5 VCore would be ample there - personally I wouldn't put anything more than that through it without watercooling.

Something that you might want to do is get something like OCCT that can monitor the voltage rails on the PSU. Although 430W should be enough, it may be that the VCore is dropping under stress to both it and the gfx card. Run it and see if you are getting any fluctuations during gaming.
