Hi guys and mainly you gibbo.

Was about to order and opteron 144 and its disapeared completely.

So my question is:-
1)are OCUK gonna restock 144s
2) or when are you getting the 146/148 in stock?

Reply asap plz because i need to know if ive gotta shop somewhere else for one :(

I ordered my Opty 144 from Ocuk a couple of weeks ago, I originally wanted a 146, but had to settle for 144 as the guy on phone said they had only 2 left and wouldn't be getting any more in. He said that the AMD rep was doing the rounds telling everyone that no more optys would be provided as everyone was buying them oc'ing them rather than buying more expensive chips. I was lucky as hell that day that I phoned.
 
yer saw that too however no news of the new dfi boards sprung up and its set to "own up" as read elsewhere test board looks to be v v good though may have problems with the uli chip tho since the nvidia aquisation

Might be time to get rid of my unused 144 opteron think its a CAB2E 540 MPAW or something like this.

I used it once to see if it was any good and it ran through prime at 334 * 9 so 3006mhz on a freezer pro.

How does one access the members market on this forum, is it like after so many posts it appears or what ?

Right, I've got a few more posts to go then !

I'm not really interested in making any profit from it, so I'll probably let it go for whatever they are new. I heard these where going for over 200 big ones on certain auction places ! stupid !

Although I may get a new mobo with some proper voltage adjustment and see just how far these can be pushed on Air ! my 146 an 144 are both 540 MPAW's( I think !) the146 is a cabye and 144 is cab2e both pretty much do 3gig although I think the 144 was a little stronger. I could'nt be bothered to put it back in for the sake of 100mhz.


Might have to invest in one of those dfi mobos with stupid amounts of voltage adjustment.
 
yeah how much for your opty?

I'm another member suffering from lack of posts and i don't really want to go sticking in random posts all over the forum just to get into the buyers market.. seems a bit of a waste and too much like spamming.
