Anyone know why this would happen?

Whatever i set the CPU VID to on my DFI Ultra-d, the voltage reported by BIOS and CPU-Z is 1.5-1.6V.

wanted to start low and work up to keep the heat down, so far clocking at 2.3GHz with a load temp of 38C.

any help would be much appreciated,

PS I am running 623-3 BIOS

THanks

i was expecting 1.456V, not 1.616V

and i have checked double checked and triple checked those 2 settings in the BIOS, is there one more i am overlooking?

I am in the genie section to set all this.

thanks jokester,

at least i know i am doing that right.

ok, after some testing I find that my set value and my actual value are around 0.2V apart, so guees I have to keep testing to find if it is reading wrong, or setting it wrong.

hope there is nothing mroe serious than a ADC or DAC being stupid.
