First off the info

Opteron 146 0540 FPMW (iirc)
Corsair 2GB DDR XMS4000PT TwinX (2x1GB) CAS3
Epox 9NPA+Ultra Mobo
X800GTO2 flashed pipes runnin stock

I had this cpu booting into windows at 295 a while back with my old RAM Corsair Pro 4400 1Gb.

Now it seems it wont boot at anything over stock.

Im just wondering if I've forgotten anything in the bios.

All I did previously was whack up the CPU speed and the HTT to x3 and everything worked fine.

I knocked it back down as BF2 kept on CTD and guild wars wouldnt even run with a light overclock (the same with a mate who has the same sys but with ballistix 2Gb).

Just tried what is probably not advised and used clockgen to whack the speed up to 285, instant crash as soon as I hit apply.

Any ideas (or insults if its a silly mistake :p lol)

Anyone with the same combo have these issues ?

Thanks in advance guys

you checked the timings are all set manually so its not making a mistake and the voltage to the ram is set right? also have you checked the ram is running to pc4000 or below to make sure its not that which is the prob?
