Opteron 148 & cpu-z

I tried lowering the multiplier to 10 as I could only get to 2993 with the 11x multiplier but after setting 10 x 300 in the BIOS, cpu-z reports this as 301.7/8 x 10 = 3017.4, this seemed stable but failed prime after 14 hours.

Also 11 x 273 is reported as 274.5 x11 = 3019.7/8.

Voltage is 1.6 so can't really go much higher, temp is 42.

14 hours..... id stick like as you are, thats more that enough time, a lot of people say 24 hours minumin, but when was the last time you did something which required 100% cpu for 14 hours

I usually fold 24/7 but haven't since I changed the motherboard.

I have seen snm mentioned on the forums before but couldn't find it, do you mean S&M?

Actually the folder it creates is called snm but the application is S&M.
