So is the general consensus that DFI are the best brand of mobo for overclocking these processors? If so is there a specific model which is best or are they all pretty much the same for clocking and I should just choose on features?

Pretty similar results on the nforce 4 boards so pick on features and price between Ultra-D, SLI-D and SLI-DR (expert)

Just sold my opty146 CABYE 0540 :rolleyes:

and bought a 165 off the MM.Looking forward to fun and games tomorrow.OCZ3700EB work well with these chips?

Mine is in Aberdeen now I just got a letter from parcel force saying im owe them

youve got off cheap mate....I paid a combined customs/parcelforce bill today of about £50 something!!

My 165 sitting happily at 2.6ghz so far CCBWE0550 UPMW.Need a better Bios with more volts but will keep tinkering until i find 1.

Sidenote 3D06 gone up 600 points over my Opty146 which ran at 3GHZ.

Any tweaks needed to set these up properly?Someone mentioned a AMD patch but i cant find any info on it.

What cooling are people using for these chips?

I tend to favour the huge sink with large slower-moving fans to keep the noise down. Any recommendations?

XP120 and a Akasa120 is what i currently use.
