There may be odd weeks that fare better than others but most opties have a cold bug i'm afraid.
My best recommendation would be to buy Toms mach 2 and since Fatty is doing work on it anyway see if he can install a cpev for you which he has it for an extra cost, this would let you be able to tune the mach 2 to optimal levels for the opty
