Opteron 175 - overclock

Hey

I'm trying to overclock my 175 I'v got it to 2.66 at the moment but can't seem to get it any higher then that. I'm using a lanparty to oc just wondering if any of you could give me some tips or let me know what you have managed to get upto.

More info on Bios settings, stepping and ram req.

I'm guessing you have not set the ram divider correctly. Or you have a poor chip.

HTT to 3x

I have set the htt to 3, FSB 240, ram divider 266 (running lower does not help either) with 3338 timings and I have tried a variety of voltages I have tried with many combinations (also tried using just one stick of ram) instead of 4. It will boot into windows at about 200mhz more than it is benchmarking stable which is 2.64ghz

I was really hoping for more, it just seems a lil low for an opty

What vcore?

Yeh increase the vcore, what are temp like at the moment, if not very high then upping the vcore will probably do the trick.

Maybe upping the NB voltage aswell on the lanparty as this sometimes helps stabablis the mobo!

set ram to 333(166) and up the htt high as it will go, 255 maybe which will take ram to 200mhz
