Opteron UP 175 Dual Core or X2 4400+

Which, with a little overclocking, is the better CPU to go for? In a previous thread someone suggested the Opty over the X2...

I am leaning towards the 4400+ myself as overclocking may not occur straight away and I believe at stock the 4400+ is the better CPU.

However, your inputs would be greatly appreciated. I'll be sinking the CPU into a DFI Lanparty UT NF4 Ultra-D (Socket 939) (MB-014-DF) if thats any help with my query.

The 175's are generally suppose to be bad at overclocking. Your most likely to get the best overclock from a 170.
 
I am not really interested in overclocking the hell out of my CPU so if the 175 is a bad overclock, I may as well stick with the 4400+.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

They both run at the same speed at stock and the 175's dont clock so well apparently. That coupled with the price margin, go for the X2 4400+
