Opteron Dual Core ........Remove IHS ? temps odd.......

Hey all running orthos on my Dual Core Opteron 170 gives me temps:

Core #0 54C
Core #1 70C

CPU 'temp' is reading as 41c load

Large Difference between cores there.......guessing one core has rubbish contact with the IHS.........easy to remove from a dual core ? Iv seen it done many times on single cores, and can find many pics of single core opterons with no IHS........but NO pics of the inside of a dual core with IHS removed............

Any input people ?

hmmm yes found a low res pic of the 165 now, seems its one huge core and not 2 like I was thinking, LOTS of capaciters n stuff right near the edge of the IHS, hmmm / me wonders some more
