Hi,

I've been reading the threads and the opteron 144 seems to be a good "bang for your buck" choice.

I was just wondering whether these have sse3 and which batch of Opteron's have it?

Cheers

Will

what actually IS sse3? my winny doesnt have it ;<
Dont actually think the SSE3 instructions are that much use in the real world since the only compiler that utilises it is Intels own which as far as I know isnt really used for a lot of apps (expensive to license)...

Pretty sure MS and the like utilises upto SSE2 only...
