Opti 170 Replacement

ok im buying a new PC at the end of the week and was intending to go with the Opti 170, though its now out of stock, whats a good replacement. im intending on clocking to 2.6 (no higher as i want totally stable 24/7 clocks) on good air

was looking at the 4400+ any advise

No chip is a "guaranteed" clock anyhow, depends so much on outside parameters. A 165 or 170 would be nice though

I got an Opteron 175 for near enough the same price as OCUK's 170, does 2.6 on 1.4V no sweat but like you I aim for silence and 100% stability rather than all out clockspeed willy waving rights.

Like has been said nothing is guaranteed but you'd have a better chance reaching 2.6 with a 175 than a 170 I would've thought, with speed binning n all that.
