optibay install, boot drive issue

As title, I moved my SSD from my macbooks default drive holder to an optibay, now the PC only boots if I hold the option key to bring up bootable area options, if i dont touch it it sits there for ages and has a '?' symbol, any way of changing a setting in OSX to tell it the boot area is always where the cd drive used to be ?

Have you changed the boot option to the new drive in - System Preferences - Start Up Disk ?

Give that try.

The boot drive can't be in the Optibay I believe - you'll need to swap them.

correctly me if i am horrendously wrong, but isn't the cd drive only IDE speed?

You can boot just fine from the optibay - the solution is above, the startup disk preference.

Speed from the optibay is exactly the same as primary hard drive bay.

yeah was goin say, its all just a sata connection.

Now im stuck with peer guardian 2 thats refusing to disable and I can seem to uninstall it, its like just 'stuck' running on the system
