Looking to get a new LG mini LED tv soon.
but they seem to have dropped the headphone jack
on the model i want.

My headphones (Sony WH-1000XM3) are Bluetooth but i prefer to use wired for zero delay.

I was considering purchasing the following, click: PROZOR Optical to RCA Converter 192kHz DAC Converter Digital to Analog Converter Supports Volume Control Coaxial SPDIF Toslink Optical to Analog Stereo L/R RCA 3.5mm Jack Audio Adapter for HDTV etc: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

Would this work perfectly like a headphone jack ( new tv has optical out) ?
anyone used a similar set up and happy with it?

thanks.

Itll work with any digital source, and the device has a volume wheel.

Quick question regarding TV choice though - any reason you’re looking at LG?

thanks for the reply.

I suppose i could get a Samsung, would you say they are better ?
don't want larger than 50" as its for sitting at my computer desk as well as sitting back on another chair for tv/gaming etc.

LG TVs have historically been IPS-based, which while better for viewing angles, means you don’t get great blacks.

This, I imagine, is to emphasise the OLED characteristic of true black.

What’s your budget?
