Optical (TOSlink) switch box?

Anyone use one? Looking to buy one for my wireless base amp. I know you can get issues with sound quality with similar boxes for scart/stereo sockets. Just wondering if I should expect the same thing with an optical switch box.

I have one myself but havn't used it yet, but the person who reccommended it to me said it makes no difference to sound quality.

Well I bought one and it works without any problems. Huzzah!.. although I forgot to get another optical cable for the switch
