I have recently installed windows xp which i want too use as an offline install which will never connect too the net as i want it too run sweet as a nut , , i want the xp install too be offline with minimal services running as i am a musician and want too use it for recording and production .
I want the best possible response times for my software synths as it is mainly midi hardware i am using for production which solely depends on how fast your pc is and how much software is clogging it up can slow things down which is annoying , I disabled everything from services.msc and now my pc is playing up and doesnt work right , can anyone advise me as too which services would be essential for my offline studio install or at least which ones i should enable too get it running smoothly ???
