Optimizegoogle going mental

Since yesterday, if I search for something on google and click the link, then go back to the google results, the page reloads itself over and over.
I set the 'reload every' to 30 minutes, but no change, it's only until I disable the addon that it works properly again.

Anyone any ideas?

Yes, such extensions don't really optimise much

There are useful ones out there though, if this one isn't working then try another one of the many others?

I don't think its meant to do that somehow. I don't use it myself, is there a support forum for it? That might be the best starting point.

google broke the firefox search bar for me, search i can see the result for a fraction of a second then it redirects to a blank search page.

I've had that extension on the pc for yonks and it's been fine, I changed over from another addon (can't remember the name) to this one because the other one was no longer being updated.
I installed it for a reason, probably, but I don't remember what is was.

Have just seen there's an update for it that's meant to sort it out, but with the addon disabled I haven't noticed any difference I don't think, so i'll just get rid of it.
