Optimum BIOS settings

Basically after building a new PC I would like to ensure that I'm running the correct BIOS settings for installed hardware.

Motherboard is an Abit Fatil1ty FP-IN9 SLI with the following hardware connected:

CPU - Q6600 quadcore
Cooler - Arctic Cool Freeze7Pro S77
Paste - Arctic Silver
Memory - Corsair TwinX 1GB DDR2 6400 x2 (matched pair)
Graphics - 8500GT 256MB
HDD - Seagate SATA2 500GB (will be x2 for mirror next weekend)
HDD - Maxtor SATA2 250GB
DVD Drive - Pioneer Dual Layer

Any help or advice would be very much appreciated as I'm currently running the performance/best settings from the BIOS but don't know if that's a generic best or it takes the installed hardware into consideration.

There's an SLI memory option in the settings, is this something I could/should take advantage of?

Also any recommendations on motherboard monitoring software for things like temp, fan speed etc?
There was a utility on the included disc but it insisted on crashing randomly.

probably the most important 1 is to make sure that your RAM is running at the mfr's recommended voltage & not the JEDEC 1.8V.

All SLI Ready (EPP) does) is have a 2nd set of SPD timings - it's nothing that you can't do yourself manually.
