Hello guys

I've got a few spare 280x cards left over from mining, and rather than sell them on, I've thought maybe I can build a small form factor rig for LAN gaming.

Do any of you recommend a case/mobo that would support two of these cards in crossfire?

Thanks

Don't know case weight as not listed, but may be the Prodigy M.

It's the same case people use for mini-ITX builds but with a re-gigged design so it fits vertical mounted micro-ATX motherboard.

I like the way the GPU's are at the top with cooler facing upwards. As I always thought heatpipe graphic cards would benefit in this orientation, but not seen any evidence either way.

Weight isn't too much of an issue, size would be though, as I don't fancy lugging my antec 1200 around. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll see if I can find one to look at in person.

Do you need two 280Xs for LAN gaming? MATX cases aren't necessarily that small compared to a mid-tower ATX. They can certainly still be awkward to carry around.

Look up some video reviews to get a better idea of the size of the case. E.g. here's a video of Linus squeezing an SLI build into a Phenom M:
