got 2 of these dell wyse fanless mini pc's which use an AMD G-T48e cpu, i believe its a dual core bobcat generation cpu.
they got 16gb flash and 4gig ram.
wondering what sort of uses they good for? maybe run old emu games or something?

Quite specialist but I'm sure they can be used to run Home Assistant for home automation purposes. I'd see what you can use a Raspberry Pi for as these will be similar in power if not slightly more so.

You could throw a couple of USB NICs on there, and run OpenWRT x86, pF/Opnsense. They're not too dissimilar to the PCEngines APU series spec CPUs, probably good for up to 400mb/sec connections. Don't expect much in the realms of VPN mind.

Stick Debian on there, Docker and run some light containers. Pihole will run happily on something like that, HA is another good shout as @Bluecube says.

Or load it up with USB drives and use it as a NAS/backup host. Put a VPN client on it with a dial back to your home network, and put it at someone else's house for offsite backup etc.

The world is your lobster.

looks like it has build in HD 6250 graphics. will have to play about some with that. i wonder if the cpu is on par with something like an atom d2500?

the insides are fairly neat, odd that there is just a lone sata connector sitting there on the mobo.
