Options for monitoring front grass area

So on a weekly/bi weekly basis, I am having to pick up dog/cat/fox poo from the front garden grass. Over the last 2 weeks, i have now counted 4 spots where something has pooed on the grass. I've no idea which animal this is.
Its annoying me so much that i am going to install a camera to try detect the culprit! Either doorbell camera or a turret ip cam.

Any recommendations for location of said camera and what would allow me to detect these on camera?

Do door cams pick up small animals? How are they at night vision?
Alternatively, a ip cam put somewhere on front of my property which would capture majority of front garden/driveway?

Waiting for the grass to dry up before i do first cut of the year....currently a big swamp and just sink into the grass/mud as i walk over it. Might try one of those electronic animal deterrents.
