Options for old shuttle HTPC want to upgrade to freeview.

I've got an old shuttle (can't remember the model) with 512meg memory and a 1.2 duron (or maybe athlon)

It also contains a Gf2 32 meg with TV out (passive cooling) in the AGP slot and a Hollywood X card (hardware DVD and Divx player with DD and DTS)

I want to alter the system to use it as a freeview recorder (to hdd) and keep the great dvd playback it has! Although i relise the X card is taking up the only PCI slot and will have to go.

Also i need a remote or some way of using the serial remote from the xcard.


What am i looking for? What windows? and what price?

A USB 2.0 Freeview TV Tuner?

Hmmm... did think that but would a 1.2 duron be good enough?

Also Would the picture be ok on the gf2? i've got a GF4 ti4200 sat here with TV out but the fans a little loud, would that be better?
