Hi All

I have just upgraded my system which includes
Asus P8Z68-V PRO GEN3 Intel Z68
Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz
Corsair Vengeance 8GB

I'm still using my existing XFX ATI Radeon HD 4890 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card which will run BF3......just.... on medium settings.

What would you do in my situation? I have a budget of £250 ish
I am able to buy a card now but obviously want a card that will last a fair while without an upgrade.

There appears to be some good deals today with games etc but I'm sure the boys are just trying to get rid of stock before the new cards come out.

Pleas help :-)

Cheers

Not a good time to be splashing over £200 on a graphics card, wait for the new gen Amd cards due soon or for the lower prices on current cards that will happen.:)

Hi Guys

Thank you for the responses.

I am currently gaming at 1680 x 1050 but that will not always be the case, I will eventually move to 1920 x 1200.

I would love to go out and spend now but I know full well I will be kicking myself in a few months time when the cards drop in price.

How many % historically do cards drop once new cards come out??

My new setup crashes about 20 mins into bf3.CPU temps ok so seems like new PSU on the way to.......suddenly a ffew quid has become a lot of money.
