Hi, I'm new to pc upgrading, I recently got a dell optiplex 3050 sff and decided to upgrade it for light to moderate gaming. I've changed PSU to 240w, added 32gb ram and installed a GT 1030 lp GPU, I was told that the best GPU I could use in this system would be a gtx 1650 LP so I've ordered one but I'm now doubting if I can use it in this pc I was just wondering if anyone can advise if it is in fact suitable. Many thanks.

Hard to say, as you’re painting well outside of Dells lines. Full system specs, particularly of the motherboard model and version might give some idea.

Who told you that card was best and what makes you question it?

You are correct to be concerned. Some Dells do not provide the full 75W to the PCIe slot. You need to tell us exactly which Dell you have. Beyond that, the 1650 has been superseded by the RTX 3050 6GB LP which is made by a number of manufacturers. OCUK do not appear to stock it right now but I'm sure @Gibbo will be able to source one for you. You will need to check the maximum dimensions - single slot or dual slot and length - to make sure it will fit. Note that you need the 6 GB model as that does not require external power.
