Optiplex 7010 sff case swap / psu upgrade

Hello,

If I were getting a micro-atx case, would I be able to use a 550w montech beta power supply with all the parts from the Dell Optiplex 7010 sff? I'm not sure if it is incompatible with the motherboard or something.

That all depends on a few things, first if the motherboard is a standard form factor like micro ATX etc. Second what power connectors it uses, dell mostly use proprietary stuff and finally does it have a standard power on off connection or is it again proprietary?

I would advise not doing a transplant since you won't have an IO shield and you'd have to replace the CPU cooler (also, the 24 pin ATX power connector isn't in the usual place so that garbage PSU might not have the cable length to reach).
