Hi ive just recieved a "Opty 146 CACJE 0602GPAW", ive managed to overclock it to 2.9ghz with 1.45v, its running prime as we speak (3hrs into it), to get this i had to use a 2/1.33 divider to keep my ram under 200mhz, ive tested the ram upto 230mhz (geil value).

What do u guys think? if it stays stable which it has upto now but im going to give it some more hours in prime, is it worth pushing it more?

I had to up the Volts to 1.45v as it failed prime when on 1.4v, im not using the best of motherboards for overclocking its a Gigabyte k8n pro-sli, and the last chip that was in which was a venice 3200+ would only clock to 2.3ghz with 1.5V and the HT at 2.5x.

Anyone got one of these chips if so what results have you got?

while running prime the cpu temp is sat at 42c, im using a Arctic freezer Pro 64 and Arctic silver 5. Is this a normal temp at this speed?

Heres a screenshot of what ive got it to so far
