Can someome please confirm a safe range for this chip?

Currently pushing 1.38v through it and seem to be getting a load of 61c on Core 1 under 2 instances of Prime95 (one on each core), seems a little high to me

I have a Freezer64 Pro and I'm pretty sure the paste was applied correctly on there.

What do you think, is this too hot?

When i was on air with an SI-120 my temps were 43c-46c under dual Prime. That was at 300x9 with 1.526vcore. So i would say your temps are very high. I think a remount of the hsf is a must.

Still playing with my 170, currently at 2.6GHz 1.33v (260 x10) full load orthos is 48/51C Core 0 and core 1, thats with the side of the case of though as the XP90C isn't really cutting the mustard! Need to invest in a Tuniq Tower ;)

hmm Well I put the stock cooler on there last night and its running 57c max load on both cores, so the freezer was def not applied right.

Any hints on applying paste on dual core processors? I put one line down the center of the IHS and some came off the sides when I locked down the HSF. Says to do this on the Artic cooling guide, seems too much though

I get similar temps with the stock heatsink with pipes at 2700 & 1.4v

I bought a Tt sonic tower so I hope to get better temps soon but we'll see as the original heatsink is pretty good

About applying the paste i just put a bit in the center and then plug and move the heatsink a bit left-right as instruction for artic ceramique
